Leaving the club at dawn, quickly freshening up before pulling on a power coat, they’re off to an important job interview. A leather bustier subtly peeks through beneath, and despite slightly smudged eye makeup from the previous night, their confidence remains unwavering. Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, “L’Entretien” (The Interview), cleverly blends evening sensuality into workplace attire, blurring the lines between provocative and professional.
As Ludovic described backstage, this collection is more of a fantastical interpretation of the “interview” scenario. Classic pencil skirts associated with office dress codes pair unexpectedly with eyelet lingerie, form-fitting latex dresses, and rare python-skin pieces, injecting an almost surreal sensuality into the corporate environment. Particularly striking is Look 16, where model Kosi’s off-shoulder shirt could easily be hidden under a structured blazer coat, appearing completely conventional during office hours, yet instantly revealing a sensual silhouette once the disguise is shed after dark.
Following his recent haute couture collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier, Ludovic demonstrates a heightened maturity and clarity in his design approach. The collection features clean, precise lines and continues to showcase his signature eyelet lingerie. Colors transition from classic black, white, and brown to nuanced shades of dusty pink, forest green, aqua, and vivid scarlet, eliminating unnecessary embellishments and highlighting a sharp, mature elegance suitable for professional settings.
