2. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

• Account & subscription — username, email, password. To create and manage your account and provide the Privé Member service. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Payment — processed by Stripe; billing country and, where provided, VAT number. We never see or store your card details. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligation (accounting).
• Newsletter — name, email, language preference. To send our editorial digest. Legal basis: consent (withdrawable at any time).
• Comments — name, email and comment content, via Thrive Comments. To let you take part in discussions. Legal basis: consent / legitimate interest.
• Usage statistics — aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics via Burst Statistics, hosted on our own servers. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Technical & security data — IP address, browser information, and anti-spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA). Legal basis: legitimate interest.

The cookies and similar technologies used on this site are described in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are set only after you give consent through our cookie banner.

4. Who has access to your data

We share personal data only with service providers acting on our behalf, and only to the extent necessary:

• Stripe — payment processing
• SiteGround (SiteGround Spain S.L., EU) — website hosting
• MailerLite (EU) — newsletter delivery
• Google (reCAPTCHA; embedded YouTube videos) and Adobe (web fonts) — site functionality and embedded content

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

5. International transfers

Our hosting (SiteGround, Madrid), newsletter (MailerLite, EU) and analytics (Burst Statistics, self-hosted) remain within the European Union. Some providers (Stripe, Google, Adobe) may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards — the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

6. How long we keep your data

• Account & subscription data — for the duration of your membership, and thereafter as required by accounting and tax law.
• Newsletter — until you unsubscribe.
• Comments — until you or we remove them.
• Inactive contacts with no legal or business reason for retention — deleted after two years.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data; rectify it; have it erased; restrict its processing; receive it in a portable format; object to processing; and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@agneselect.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), www.cnil.fr.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and strong authentication — to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
